Wonderful opportunity for a skilful Electronics Technician who is able to demonstrate a successful track record in Electronics Technician or Test Support roles. The client is based in East Anglia and have a requirement for an experienced Electronics Technician to come in and support the clients Test Engineering team providing services such as PCB rework, test jig fabrication and component ordering.
The successful candidate will have experience maintaining a high tech laboratory area with main responsibilities including: test fixture construction and maintenance; rework of digital and microwave PCB's and maintenance of the component store.
The successful candidate will also have excellent fine pitch soldering skills for 0402 and QFN package sizes; possess first rate report writing and technical drawing skills and in addition will have an in depth knowledge of ESD precautions. Previous experience of component sourcing and purchasing will also be looked upon favourably.
